Welcome to Year 5 - Kensuke Base!
Apart from enjoying the snow today, here are some ideas for when you're back indoors and warming up.
This week Year 5 have started to learn about fractions. Can you create your own fractions wall to help you with recognising equivalent fractions? Can you see if you can make fractions of shapes in different ways?

If you're in more of a history mood- think about how we have just started the topic on Romans.
There are links on the topic star on this page for you to find out about the Romans. Quite a few of you were interested in building a model Roman temple or house. If you were able to build or draw something and label it about the Roman times we can add it to the Roman display area in the classroom.
You all have log-in to reading eggs and readtheory too. Or, just curl up in a warm spot with a good book! As it is World Book Day, why not take some Wild Weather Extreme Reading photos? Send them into the school office email address or to our Twitter account: @bsmprimaryhead
Have a great day. Keep warm!
Finding out about fair trade. Linking to your class reading book we're going to be learning about fairtrade through the story of fairtrade footballs.
