Jason was born in Weymouth in 1977 but raised and schooled in Upton and at Lytchett Minster Upper School. He went on to study Human Physiology with Management Honours at University in Cardiff graduating in 1998. In the latter part of 1999 he was selected to train at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, Devon to become a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy. Jason spent just under 12 years in the military travelling all over the world. The majority of his time overseas was in the Middle East including tours in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the far east as well as crossing the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Leaving the Royal Navy as a Lieutenant Commander he initially worked in Lithuania, South and Central America for a UK-based defence company providing security solutions. Currently, he has been employed by JP Morgan, an investment Bank since 2014. He is based within an operations hub in Bournemouth. Jason is a Member of the Institute for Leadership and Management and a Vice President who designs and delivers training programmes for bank staff around the globe. He is married and has one son. In his spare time, Jason likes to ski, go fishing and pursue other outdoor country activities. Jason is really bad at DIY and enjoys watching rugby and chopping firewood (not at the same time).
